Information We Collect

Data You Provide

When you use Habit Swipe, you create and track habits. This data includes:

• Habit names and descriptions you create
• Habit completion records and timestamps
• Streak and statistics data
• App preferences and settings

This data is stored locally on your device and, if you enable iCloud sync, in your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to this data.

Automatically Collected Data

The app may collect limited technical data for functionality:

• Device Information: Device type and iOS version for compatibility
• Crash Reports: Anonymous crash data to improve app stability (if enabled in iOS settings)

Advertising

Habit Swipe displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. To show relevant ads, AdMob may collect:

• Device advertising identifier (IDFA)
• General location (country/region)
• Device information

When you first open the app, you will be asked whether to allow tracking for personalized ads. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized to your interests.

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync:

• Your habit data is stored in your personal iCloud account
• Data syncs across your devices signed into the same iCloud account
• We do not have access to your iCloud data
• Your data is protected by Apple's iCloud security measures

iCloud sync is optional and can be disabled in the app settings.

Data Storage and Security

Your habit data is:

• Stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage
• Optionally backed up to your iCloud account
• Never transmitted to our servers
• Never sold to third parties

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Access: View all your habit data within the app
• Export: Export your data as JSON or CSV from Settings
• Delete: Delete individual habits or all data from the app
• Opt-out of tracking: Decline ad tracking when prompted, or change in iOS Settings > Privacy > Tracking

Children's Privacy

Habit Swipe is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation or personal information to use.

Third-Party Services

Habit Swipe uses the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements (Privacy Policy)
• Apple iCloud: For optional data sync (Privacy Policy)

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
